There have been rumors coming from the Japanese market that gamers in that region will be receiving up to 6 Mega Pokemon in a give away event! It has been common practice for years in Pokemon to have internet give aways through the Mystery Gift option that has been part of the games for several generations. We have seen legendary Pokemon, shiny Pokemon or just popular Pokemon with special items give away in the past, making Mystery Gift events very popular to Pokemon fans.
With their popularity, it was only a matter of time for a big Pokemon X and Y event to take place, but the rumors coming from Japan suggests a mega event, focusing on Mega Pokemon. Gyrados, Kangaskhan, Scizor, Mawile, and Tyranitar are rumored to be given away running from May 10th through June 22nd. while that alone would be a significant event, these Pokemon are also rumored to each be at level 50 and holding their respective Mega Stones. Each week is supposed to feature one of the offered Pokemon.
A Diancie event is also rumored to coincide with the release of the upcoming movie, with movie ticket purchasers in Japan receiving access to the legendary Pokemon Diancie.
