Pokemon News:

ORAS Demo Coming to the United States

The Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire demo had been set up for release in nearly every other main region, but until now, the United States market had been left in the dark, wondering… if they will also be privy to experience the Hoenn region in glorious 3D, roughly a month before the game’s official release.

Nintendo, through their official Pokemon.com website, revealed that the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire demo will be released in the USA, and in just a few days as a matter of fact.

Similar to the manner that Super Smash Brothers 3DS’ demo was offered to Nintendo gamers, the company will be releasing the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire US demo to those that subscribe to certain email news updates from the Pokemon Trainer Club, their online Pokemon community/experience center. They suggest everyone that is a member, or looking to become a member, to have email notifications set up so that they can receive the upcoming October newsletter, set for an October 20th release date.

If you are already a member, make sure you have your email notifications set to ON, or else you will not receive the newsletter, and miss out on the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire USA demo code. If you are not yet a member, there is no need to worry! As long as you register before October 20th, and check off to ensure you receive the email notifications, you too, will be able to receive the demo.

It is also a good idea to make sure that pokemon@email.pokemon.com is added to your safe email filter, so that your demo doesn’t end up in a Spam folder!

Other regions have already begun receiving the demo, with a full list of regions and methods made available here. This latest announcement covers the last largest market, and will give gamers just enough to hold them off for another month before the official release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS.
