The Pokemon Bank will be coming soon, and Nintendo already has offered a free trial period to introduce gamers to the new system that will run $4.99 a year after the trial period is up. A new Nintendo Direct that just came out revealed that they will be offering more than just a free trial, but will also be giving players a “free” Celebi as well.
The legendary grass and psychic type Pokemon from Generation II has been hard to obtain in recent years, with only special events making it possible for Celebi to be obtained. This promotion will give any player that accesses the Pokemon Bank before September 30th, 2014 a free Celebi, including the ones that only use the free trial.
