If you have yet to purchases a 3DS, now may be the time to do so. Nintendo announced a promotion they will be running starting in the month of March, which includes obtaining a free digital copy of Pokemon X or Y. To get your free copy you must:
1. Buy a new Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 2DS console
2. Link the newly purchased console to your Club Nintendo account.
3. Buy any of the following titles: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3DS, Mario Kart 7, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Super Mario 3D Land, Yoshi’s New Island or Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins.
4. Register both your game and your system on Club Nintendo.
5. You get digital copy of Pokemon X or Y.
It is that easy. If you already own a console or title of these games, but have yet to register them, you can try that as well to get your free copy. This promotion only runs though the month of March and the free digital download must be completed by May 31st.
