Pokemon News:

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Demo Coming Soon

Nintendo seems to be in a large marketing push to get big, late 2014 titles into gamer’s hands to sample prior to their release. Just after Nintendo revealed they will be running a Club Nintendo promotion, followed up by a universal release for Super Smash Brothers 3DS, it seems that an Omega Ruby demo and/or a Alpha Sapphire demo are on their way, too… at least to some markets.

CoroCoro, a Japanese magazine, has confirmed the existence of the Pokemon ORAS demo, which has been stated to be released in the upcoming print of Shonen Sunday magazine, which will be released on October 15th, 2014. Included in this magazine will be a download code to access the demo codes for the Nintendo 3DS.

While the full details of the extent of the demo have not been announced, it has been stated that the players will be able to choose between Grovyle, Marshtomp and Combusken. Upon completing the demo, players will receive a mega stone for their respective chosen Pokemon.

It has also been said that elements of the demo will be able to be incorporated/continued on once the actual copy of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire is released on November 21st. It has even been alleged that the game’s demo begins at the beginning of the game, and that once the actual game comes out, you can continue from where the demo left off.

So it appears at least the Japanese market will be getting the Omega Ruby Demo and Alpha Sapphire demo , but the United States, Europe and other markets have not had official or confirmed reports of how or if the Pokemon ORAS demo will be available.

Though not announced, it would seem likely that these markets also receive the demo in some form, as Nintendo is ramping up their direct developer to consumer marketing lately. Stay tuned for more updates and subscribe to us on Youtube to view the latest trailers ad videos.
